NCSHLA is accepts nominations for State Clinical Achievement Award, Student Achievement Award, and SLP-A or Audiology Student Achievement Award.  Nominate yourself or a deserving student or colleague for a NCSHLA Award!

  • State Clinical Achievement Award - NCSHLA annually selects a member to receive an award for recent (within the last three years) contributions to the advancement of clinical practice in speech/language pathology and audiology.
  • Student Achievement Award - NCSHLA selects a student for its annual educational achievement award on the basis of academic excellence and merit.  Students are awarded a scholarship (amount determined by sponsorships and donations).
  • Assistant Student Achievement Award - NCSHLA selects a student for its annual SLP-Assistant or Au.D. Assistant educational achievement award on the basis of academic excellence and merit.  Students are awarded a scholarship (amount determined by sponsorships and donations).
  • Public Information Awards - Presented to deserving NCSHLA members for outstanding promotional campaigns.
  • Honors of the Association - As NCSHLA's highest honor, the Honors Awards are conferred in recognition of consistent, long-term, distinguished contributions to the Association or to the communication disorders profession.
  • CSAP Nancy McKinley Leadership Award - This award is intended to recognize a member of a speech-language and hearing association for his or her exemplary contributions to their speech and hearing association (SHA). This individual should have demonstrated selfless dedication and commitment to the development of an initiative or program designed to promote the work of the SHA or professionals in the field of communication sciences and disorders.
